Classes for Adults

“There are short-cuts to happiness, and dancing is one of them.”

- Vicki Baum

We believe you’re never too old to dance. Our motto? Dance for Fitness. Dance for Fun. Dance for Life.

The Pilates and Tap classes are only $12 per class or you can get a 10-Class Card for only $100. So, no commitments– and you can use a Class Card for any combination of Tap and Pilates classes. Oh yeah, did we mention? The first class is on us. Try it and see it if you like it.

The Ballet classes are $15 per class, payment of which is handled directly by the teacher.

Pilates

  • Wednesdays 9:30-10:30am
  • Thursdays 6:30-7:30pm

Pilates is a great way to stay in shape. While fun and recreational, it’s also a precise method that uses your mind to keep your body strong and healthy. Join experienced teacher Christina Bunn for a morning or evening class, or both!

A little more about Pilates (from Wikipedia): Pilates was designed by Joseph Pilates, a gymnast born in Germany of partly Greek ancestry. He designed a system of exercises during the First World War with the proposal to improve the rehabilitation program for the many returning veterans. Joseph Pilates believed that mental and physical health are inter-related. He recommended a few precise movements emphasizing control and form to aid injured soldiers in regaining their health by strengthening, stretching, and stabilizing key muscles. Pilates created “The Pilates Principles” to condition the entire body: proper alignment, centering, concentration, control, precision, breathing, and flowing movement.
